Services
Three jobs a car needs — finding the right one, building it into your own, and keeping it running for the long haul. One workshop for all three, and whoever does the work, you deal with FCAR.
How pricing works
Bringing your own car in? The inspection is free. We find the problem, explain it in plain language, and quote every part and every hour in writing — nothing goes ahead until you say yes. (Thinking of buying a car? That’s a separate, fixed-fee pre-purchase inspection — see Find a car below.)
What we do
Three tiers, one workshop — and the same responsibility across all of them, whoever does the work.
01 — Find a car
A fixed-fee inspection — we’re on the buyer’s side, not the seller’s. No conflict of interest.
Found a car you’re thinking of buying — at a dealer or a private seller? We check it over for you: the health of the engine and gearbox, any signs of accident or frame repair, whether the service history stacks up, and whether the asking price is fair.
We inspect it and put what we find in writing. The call is yours — and we don’t sell cars, so there’s nothing in it for us either way.
02 — Build a car
Panel, paint and performance — done by specialists we work with, under FCAR’s warranty. One point of contact: us.
Turn the car into your own — conversions and custom work, panel and paint, performance upgrades. We bring in trusted specialists and manage it from start to finish, so you deal with FCAR the whole way through: one quote, one warranty, one number to call.

03 — Keep it running
Done here in Brooklyn by Tino — and your car’s record stays with us.
Logbook servicing kept to schedule so your new-car warranty stays intact, honest diagnostics, and the mechanical work that keeps you on the road — all done in our own workshop. Once we know your car, we keep its history and remind you before a service is due.
The promise
In writing, and separate from your invoice.
01
The length of the warranty depends on the work involved. We tell you the period, in plain language, before we start — not after.
02
When the job is finished, we issue a standalone Warranty Against Defects — a document of its own, not a line buried on the invoice.
03
This sits on top of the law. Nothing we do limits the consumer guarantees you already have — our warranty is in addition to them.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. FCAR’s warranty against defects is given in addition to those rights, not instead of them.
